Hardwired Book #1 Review

HARDWIRED by Meredith Wild
5 Wild Stars

Hacker Series #1
Determined to overcome a difficult past, Erica Hathaway learns early on to make it on her own. Days after her college graduation, she finds herself face to face with a panel of investors who will make or break her fledgling startup. The only thing she didn’t prepare for was going weak in the knees over an arrogant and gorgeous investor who seems determined to derail her presentation.

Billionaire and rumored hacker Blake Landon has already made his fortune in software, and he’s used to getting what he wants. Captivated by Erica’s drive and unassuming beauty, he’s wanted nothing more than to possess her since she stepped into his boardroom. Determined to win her over, he breaks down her defenses and fights for her trust, even if it means sacrificing a level of control he’s grown accustomed to.

But when Blake uncovers a dark secret from Erica’s past, he threatens not just her trust, but the life she’s fought so hard to create.

Before I start gloating about the love I have for this book, it is a series and not all of the books have come out yet but four our of five have and the last one, I believe comes out in September, so not THAT long of a wait but just a warning for some who like to start completed series.

Okay let the gloating and love commence. Now this book is very similar to Crossfire Series and Fifty Shades but I would never in my life say they are so much the same that this is a rip off, not by any shot. Yes, Blake the main hero is an amazing god like billionaire but he is a lot different then the other men from these other series.

This book had it all for me, or all that I wanted or needed from it, it make me laugh, feel happy, get heart palpitations  turns you on, and feel sad and angry. Needless to say I read this book in less then 24 hours, that's how good it was. I crave these type of stories and this delivered exactly what I wanted.

SO..... Blake, babe, I love him so much. In the beginning he comes off a little asshole like but honestly that couldn't be farther from the truth. I felt he was a real genuine, sweet guy who just happened to be a hot billionaire. He was indeed a little controlling but the main heroine, Erica, held her own, she really wasn't a girl to be pushed around. The sex was HOT, and there was plenty of it but to me there was still a story around it. I feel sometimes authors get lost in too much sex and not enough plot but Hardwired but wired with the perfect amount of both to me. Erica, was a great girl, I actually really enjoyed her for once, she is a smart woman, who cares about her business like it's her baby and she stuck by it and I really respect her for it.

All in all a pretty amazing series! Get started reading now !

Just RELEASED : A Beautiful Mistake by Ashlee Price

Surprise... I went in for surgery and woke up married...to my doctor! How did this happen to a rich playboy like me?  After all, I believe in lust, not love. Maybe I can use this mistake to my advantage. My generous donation to the hospital will help buy her the respect she craves from her stuck up bosses. And a fake marriage is just what I need to get my family off my back. A great idea until the unexpected happens... We're drawn to each other like magnets.  I didn't expect to feel this way. She's the complete package.  Gorgeous eyes. Stunning curves. Virgin lips. But nah, I can't give in. We have a simple agreement. One year. Then divorce. My perfect plan starts to fall apart when her controlling, desperate ex threatens her.  Screw that. In this world, I protect what's mine. I'll protect Marian, the baby growing inside her and will destroy anyone who gets in my way.

Upcoming read : We Shouldn't by Vi Keeland

NOW A  NEW YORK TIMES ,  USA TODAY  &  WALL STREET JOURNAL  BESTSELLER! From  #1  New York Times  Bestseller Vi Keeland , comes a new, sexy  standalone  novel. Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning. I was late for the first day at my new job--a job I'd now have to compete for even though I'd already worked  eight years  to earn it, because of an unexpected merger. While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons. She'd ticketed a long line of cars--except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine. Annoyed, I decided to  regift  my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine. Chances were, the owner would pay it and be none the wiser. Except, I  accidentally  broke the windshield wiper while slipping the ticket onto the car's window. Seriously, my day couldn't get any worse. Things started to perk up when I ran into a gorgeous man in the eleva

BOOK EXPO 2018 REVIEW - SABINA

2018 was absolutely amazing ! Every year seriously they just get better and better with their book choices and authors to Book Expo. 2018 was again held in New York which makes me happy as its easily accessible again! Yay! I am looking forward to reading so many good books that I received. Especially A Curse So Dark and Lonely. Another book that I got (with hard work and lots of running) The Wicked King! Every year Book expo and Book con is like christmas. Although Book Con I believe could run a bit differently as there is just So many people, it is still a good time! Thank yu for holding an expo for books every year, us book nerds could not be more greatful!
