BOOK EXPO 2017

Book Expo 2017 came and went and now were onto Book Expo 2018 at the Javits center. I have to say 2017 at the Javits was a disappointing year in terms of the books. As you all know the crew and I mainly read a lot of romance and dear lord was that lacking last year! It was so upsetting there were so many open spots where I was just walking around not waiting for anything or grabbing something for a friend! I am hoping this year we have broadened a little in terms of titles for Book Expo. They also seem to be putting a lot more emphasis on book con last year which is so disappointing, this has become more about making money than it has about the books themselves. On the plus side it is always wonderful to meet new authors and old and get a chance to talk about their books and meet new people who share the same love for the same books! Love making new friends at BEA always! Heres to hoping Book Expo 2018 will be awesome!

New Reads!

I'm looking for some new reads! Recently I sort of went into a book hiatus and I am so ashamed that I have not read something new this past month. Everything I have read so far this year has been subpar at least which is so disappointing, so if anyone has any recommendations at all that would be amazing!
