Audio Books

For a long time I was kind of against Audibles because I don't know they just sounded a little ridiculous to me and I would just laugh at the voices that people were making. After my trip to BEA in 2016 on the way home since it was around 8-9 hours we decided to listen to one and this was my first one I had heard and when we finished I absolutely loved it! I am now addicted but I do like to hear samples first just in case the voice really isn't pleasant. I think everyone should try one once just let it go passed the first 30 minutes and I promise you won't care how weird it sounds!

Book Challenge - 2017

Well it's the beginning of the year and that time has come for me to chose how many books I will be wanting to read in the challenge for Goodreads this year. This year I chose 75 books, who knows I may go over or may go way under. Every year I feel my numbers get a little smaller cause I become more picky with what I read or what I do and don't like. If you have a smaller number of books to read or a bigger number thats great too! Don't let other peoples numbers discourage you as long as you are reading what you enjoy and loving it , that's what is important! I will keep you updated on my reading, so far I have read 5 books this year but nothing groundbreaking yet but I have hope I'll find something I absolutely love soon!

Fifty Shades Darker COMING SOON!

If you know me or follow me on any social media you know that my obsession for fifty shades is most likely extremely unhealthy but um how could I not be obsessed?! Well in a little more than 2 weeks Fifty Shades Darker is coming to a theatre near you! I am so damn excited for this movie as this was my favorite book in the trilogy so I'm hoping the movie is great also!

DNF at 36 % =/

This rarely happens for me but sometimes I come across a book I really just can't finish or have to put it down for a certain time and try to read it at a later point in time.  Unfortunately I was excited about this one book : Lucian Divine by Renee Carlino. Now let me say I have read some of her other books and although they are not my favorite I enjoy them, usually around three stars or so but this was a paranormal so I thought okay different, sounds good but I got about mid thirty percent in and it just became so ridiculous I could NOT finish it, I'm sorry I don't mind books when they're unbelievable and super happy and Aℓℓ I mean that's why I read them anyway so that I get a good happy feeling. Especially paranormal there is going to be weird unbelievable things but I just could not get past the dumb thinking and talking in this book, there was no build up, the characters were one dimensional and I feel like there should have just been more explaining or more

Review Coming Soon : EGOMANIAC by Vi Keeland - 4 STARS

The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office.  I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.  He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.      Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.  Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.      Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office.  He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.  Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent.    I was swindled out of ten grand.    The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse.  In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place.  I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients.  But I couldn’t help giving him a pi

CURRENT READ: Badd Ass By Jasinda Wilder

Badd Ass (Badd Brothers, #2) by Jasinda Wilder S ynopsis: I was a Sixty-Eight Whiskey—a combat medic. So when I hear someone shout “MEDIC!” training just kicks in. It’s automatic, immediate. I don’t think I even saw the guy whose leg I tended to, not really. All I saw was him. Zane Badd. His tuxedo fit him like he’d been sewn into it, and his eyes reflected the fury and the hardness of a combat veteran, but when he looked at me, he just…softened. By the time I had his brother patched, Zane and I were both covered in blood, and I knew I had to have him.  The trouble with Zane isn’t getting him, it’s keeping him.   And the trouble with me is, even if I could hold onto a man like Zane, I wouldn’t know what to do with him. It’s not in my nature, and if life has taught me anything, it’s to not trust anyone, least of all men like Zane. He’s a warrior through and through, hard, muscular, gorgeous, tenacious, and yet oddly tender toward me.  Experience and instincts are telling me to run f

Book Expo of America - 2016

Well BEA this year was held in Chicago as opposed to the typical Javits Center in New York City. The idea of going to Chicago since I had never been was super fun and exciting because now it became a big trip with the girls as we were driving there from NYC area. This BEA was a huge let down honestly, it was small, people were rude, the book selection wasn't the greatest, and it was just a hot mess. This is the one event a year I look forward to, it's like my Christmas and I obsess about the next year as soon as the one I just attended to ends. This was my 4th year attending BEA so I think I have a good idea of what it was suppose to be and my expectations were not met at all. For such a huge space they did not optimize it to it's fullest potential at all, they had so many fewer publishers and authors it was just so disappointing. Also now I know NYC is known for its rude people and fast paced atmosphere but I barely ever have an issue at BEA as everyone is usually so fr
